Overview

Critical Control Energy Services has an immediate opening for an Asset Integrity Specialist (Full Time & Permanent Position) involved in computational corrosion engineering work.  You will be involved in business analysis for developing world-class cutting-edge software to predict the rates of general corrosion and localized corrosion which appear in underground oil and gas pipelines.  As well, you will be asked to work on client mandates for managing their asset integrity programs.

Qualifications

  • Sc in Engineering in a field related to oil & gas
  • Experience with GIS software an asset
  • Membership in NACE, ASME an asset
  • Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Earth Mapping
  • Previous field work experience considered an asset
  • Familiarity with pipeline industry safety & operating standards
  • Fluent and proficient in technical report writing
  • Able to travel and work overtime on an as needed basis
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Computer modeling of complex Oil & Gas geometric networks, including extensive data collection, integration, validation and analysis
  • Assist clients in the implementation of their corporate integrity management plans utilizing Critical Control’s software
  • Ensure correct technical and regulatory information is provided to clients
  • Collaboration with other team members on a regular basis for designated projects
  • Technical report writing
  • Researching new concepts
  • Managing client relationships
  • Generating project proposals
  • Recommend modifications to senior personnel for approval
  • Assist senior personnel in the preparation of risk reports and final job reports
