Overview

GAS

 

Gas Analytical Services has an immediate opening for a Journeyman Electrician to expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in Indiana and Washington areas within Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, reliable, demonstrate a desire to learn and is capable of adapting quickly across job functions and responsibilities. Projects include well-pad electrical installations, service installs, maintenance, trouble-shooting, compressor stations, heat trace, and well site automation. Candidate must be able to consult directly with equipment manufactures on problems for resolutions as necessary. We are looking for an employee that wants to grow and advance within the gas and oil industry.

Qualifications

  • 2+ Years Journeyman Electrician preferred
  • Knowledge of electricity in both AC and DC circuits
  • Pass a drug screen and background check
  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
  • At least a High School Grad or GED. I&E technical degree and training preferred.
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas measurement preferred, but will train acceptable candidate
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision
  • Physical Requirements – must be able to lift 40 lbs. and climb ladders. Walking, bending, stooping, is required. Must be able to wear personal protective clothing and equipment including the use of a respirator.
  • Must be willing to stay out of town up to 50% of the time

  • The ability to work any overtime that is required to complete a particular job
  • The ability to work out of town on overnight stays as required

Additional Details:
