Critical Control Energy Services provides systems, technology and business solutions to a wide range of Oil & Gas clients across North America.  Combining vision, innovation and expertise, Critical Control Energy Services has become a leader in business solution delivery.  Our ProMonitor™ product offers the ability to consolidate a client’s proprietary and public well, pipeline and facility data, together with other relevant information, and then uses this data to produce various types of schematic drawings.  We are a rapidly growing company, currently seeking a Junior Drafting Technologist to join our ProMonitor™ Schematics Team.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas flow and process
  • Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas measurement
  • Working knowledge of Oil & Gas schematic drawings
  • Familiarity with various GIS and Oil & Gas systems, such as field data capture, Petroleum Registry, and production accounting systems
  • Superior skills working with Microsoft Visio 2013
  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent time management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous Experience with Pipeline or Facility Drafting
  • Completion of a Drafting Technologist Program (or equivalent)
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Experience performing data analysis
  • Previous experience producing GIS Maps, Field Flow Diagrams and Production Measurement Drawings for the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

Responsibilities

As a member of the ProMonitor™ Schematics Team, you will be responsible for taking raw draft documents generated by the application from which you will produce GIS Maps, Flow Diagrams and Production Measurement Diagrams that meet or exceed industry requirements.  You will work with our growing customer base to steward produced diagrams to approved completion.  You will be involved in refining drawings; publishing revisions; performing adjustments based upon redline and comment sheet feedback and participating in the peer-based quality control process.
