Critical Control has an immediate opening for a Web Designer/Developer, Spatial & Data Solutions.  As a member of the Research & Development team, you will be an active participant in the ongoing evolution of the next generation of Oil & Gas analytic & visualization platforms, ProMonitor™.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science
  • Expert knowledge with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery UI
  • Experience with front-end development and implementation
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Databases
  • Experience with Agile & Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of advanced application concepts including, but not limited to: recursion, machine learning, predictive analytics, performance optimization, high-performance browser graphics, search-path optimization and load balancing

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with C#
  • Experience in large-scale multi-tenancy SaaS product environment as a programmer
  • Working knowledge of Oil & Gas Concepts, Pipeline Integrity, One Call, and Technical Drawings (GIS, Field Flow, Production Measurement and P&IDs)
  • Practical knowledge and familiarity with Physics, Chemistry, or Mobile Application/Game Development is an asset
  • Knowledge of JavaScript Knockout web framework
  • Experience working in a blended distributed team (local & remote) environment

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify custom interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Ensure that the user interface is consistent and aesthetic throughout the application based on product direction
  • Work with Business Analysts to troubleshoot and find solutions to issues our clients are experiencing
  • Participate in daily scrums with the Spatial & Data Solutions team
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure the best performance possible in all branches of the software
