Qualifications

What you need to demonstrate:

  • The ability to talk to the C-Suite in any organization
  • You’ve “seen it all” when it comes to typical HR practices
  • You think HR can be done better
  • You are known to challenge and disrupt traditional HR practices
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • You are comfortable working in a non-structured environment (as in, you’ll dictate what your day looks like…or at least be okay by clients dictating what your day looks like, not management)
  • You can firefight as well as strategize
  • You aren’t afraid of a challenge…or in our case a lack of processes and rules
  • You like to write
  • You can speak in front of large groups
  • You’ve got an education in HR (or experience that demonstrates you should know more than the basic rules of HR)

Responsibilities

What does this job actually look like?

 

We think it might be easier to answer what won’t you be doing…but from a traditional job ad perspective…here’s a quick snapshot:

  • Developing and managing project plans for each client based on the assessments we complete annually
  • Building curriculum for our amazing training and development offerings (HR 101 to Leadership Essentials)
  • Writing job ads that are reflective of the culture we are recruiting for
  • Designing new employee handbooks that capture culture rather than “rules”
  • Developing compensation strategies that are unique to the market place
  • Researching performance management tactics that enhance the employee experience
  • Supporting the termination process to have employees leave with dignity and respect
